Yoga, discussion & community to come home to you

This workshop is designed for women who feel they've lost touch with their instinctual self inside. Stories have the power to heal and transform, and in this workshop we will use the story "Sealskin Soulskin" from the book Women who Run with the Wolves, written by Clarissa Pinkola Estés, as a springboard for our journey together.

How do we find our way back to the wild woman within? You will be supported in your journey through discussion, yoga, and a community of women. We hope you will leave the workshop with new life that springs from coming home to yourselves. Or, at the very least, find your inner howl. Feel warmly welcomed!

We recommend that you get a copy of the book to get the most out of the workshops.

You can participate online if you are unable to join us in the studio.

About the teachers

Chungmei started her yoga journey back in 2001 when she was a graduate student in Cambridge. She teaches a yoga class she would like to take herself: a blend of hatha, pranayama, and meditation. Students who take her classes have appreciated her clear instructions, ability to help them connect with their bodies, and her special "pancake" counting. Her intention is that you will leave the class breathing a little easier, stand a little taller, with a little more bounce in your step and a little less weight on your shoulders.

Hillevi has for more than 20 years been working as a Physical Physiotherapist (Physio ). Hillevi combines her substantial academic education and her great interest in the human body with her knowledge of yoga and looks at the totality of every individual. Yoga is a part of Hillevi's life and the yogic techniques are included in her own personal toolbox as well as in the professional one. Hillevi teaches classes in both yoga and core stability for rehabilitation. She also educates other yoga teachers in yoga anatomy.
