I have never been a smoothie person. My girlfriend, who is, has been trying for the past year to get me hooked on the latest superfood smoothie of the week to no success (especially if it has avocado in it). I told her it does not have ice cream in it, I’ll never like it.
But this past week I’ve had to eat my words along with the following smoothie. The recipe comes from Marita Karlson’s book Hälso Kick. In fact, Ms. Karlson’s book is filled good tasting and good for you smoothies. Give this one a try (it even has avocado in it).
- 1- 1 1/2 avocado
- 4 kiwis
- Fresh mint leaves (around 10)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice
- 2 dl almond milk
Mix it up in a blender and enjoy!
