About Embodied Flow

Through Embodied Flow you can explore the body-mind connection. Asana (physical yoga poses), meditation and embodied anatomy, i.e. to learn from experiencing and somatic movement. Embodied Flow originates from discoveries in several somatic schools, Hatha Yoga and tantric system with the aim to experience yoga as a living artform in you as an individual.

Benefits of Embodied Flow

  • Creates versatility in your yoga practice
  • The body gets diversity and is not stuck in repetitive moves
  • All-rounded practice, stimulating different parts of your body, both physical and mental
  • Increases body awareness

When should I practice Embodied Flow?

If you want to feel more grounded in the present and listen to your own inner teacher as much as the yoga teacher, you should explore Embodied Flow. During the yoga class the focus is on the practitioner to find the inner strength to change, rather than the instructor of the class. Of course you will be guided through the session, however, the instructor will not lead you to a specific experience. Instead he or she will encourage you to listen and recognize your own expressions and individual body structure. You should also try Embodied Flow if you seek a versatile yoga to expand and facilitate awareness in body and mind.

How does Embodied Flow work?

Embodied Flow is practiced based on different systems and focus points. Skin, bones, legs, organs, endocrine system, muscles; all parts embodies the feeling of the movement differently. By focusing on one part of the body and start the movement from that particular area, you will be able to access the body's different languages. Maybe we usually move with the basis from the muscles but find new strength and recovery by basing our movement in our bones. Or perhaps it feels more freeing moving from the fascia than the skin. The combinations are endless!

Every class is centered on a theme that connects the inner with the outer. We use movements and experiences to understand how your body-mind is connected, in order to better understand and navigate in our lives and daily life. The classes are simply formed to suit you, wherever you are right now.

”The answers you seek never come when the mind is busy, they come when the mind is still.”
