Wild Wood Stockholm
A Jivamukti Yoga celebration and a rare opportunity to study with the masters and co-founders of the Jivamukti Yoga method, Sharon Gannon and David Life. Yogobe’s own Camilla Veen is also a Guest instructor along meditation class with Swedish song/-writer Thomas di Leva.
Master classes, Open class, Asana Lab and Meditation
Sharon Gannon and David Life are the gurus and founders of the Jivamukti Yoga method. Through the innovations of Jivamukti Yoga, they have brought the ancient teachings alive, going to the root of their wisdom and making it relevant to the contemporary world. They are pioneers in teaching yoga as spiritual activism/activation, demonstrating that yoga is a living tradition, a complete system for accessing the lasting happiness that is available to all beings. They incorporate their profound talents and experiences as artists, performers and musicians into their teaching style, making their teaching compelling, exciting and empowering.
Time Magazine has named Jivamukti Yoga one of the important forms of Hatha yoga taught in the world today. Jivamukti yoga classes are vigorously physical and intellectually stimulating on many levels. Mostly the classes move fluidly through a Vinyasa framework, including hands-on adjustments, breathing exercises, meditation, Sanskrit chanting, yogic philosophic teachings and deep relaxation.
Guest teachers
Camilla Veen is a Yogobe instructor, the director of the Jivamukti Affiliate studio Atha Yoga in Stavanger, Norway. She is Advanced Certified and serves as mentor for the Jivamukti Yoga teacher trainings.
Thomas di Leva is a well known singer/songwriter, a meditation expert and personal development coach. He will teach a special meditation session on Sunday evening.
