What is Yin yoga?
In Yin Yoga we create gentle (sometimes more dynamic) long held postures and practice them with an attitude of Maitri, loving kindness. The poses stimulate the energy flow in meridians, energy channels. During these Yang infused times, Yin helps us to stop, to start again. Yin yoga increases awareness of our mind-body connection in each dimensions and also opens up space by helping to release limitations in these realms. Yin yoga is one of the greatest eye openers inwards, toward our limitless spirit.
What is the training about?
In this Training we will learn:
- about Chinese medicine
- incorporate pranayama and meditation into a Yin practice
- in-depth study of the poses and how there is no one way of doing them right
- learn to use props and give healing assists,
- explore Embodied Flow™ practices,
- discover different ways to lead a safe and inspiring Yin class,
- how to live with a Yin-attitude and philosophy in our lives off the mat.

I lovelovelove yin and I have been practicing and teaching it for about 8 years. My take on it has developed over the years and I find that it is, like everything, an evolving practice. With the embodied feel, yin yoga offers a great journey into the self and to deeply release everything in the way.
