Week 1

Week 1: Explore

Welcome to your first week of inviting more yin into your life. This week, you’ll begin to explore yin yoga through seated and lying postures, with gentle elements of movement to support you when stillness feels challenging.

We recommend practicing around 3 times per week (especially if your intention is stress relief) – more is of course a lovely bonus. If you’re using yin as a complement to other training, around two sessions per week can be a great balance.

This week’s supportive class offers a gentle breathwork practice to help you slow down and reconnect with your natural rhythm. You can return to it whenever you need a moment of calm, or on days when you’re not doing a yin class.

Week 2: Go deeper

In the second week, you’ll begin to soften and release tension in the thoracic spine and around the hips. Through longer holds and mindful stillness, you’re invited to settle a little deeper into the practice – both physically and mentally.

We recommend practicing around three times per week (especially if your intention is stress relief) – more is of course a lovely bonus. If you’re using yin as a complement to other training, around two sessions per week can be a great balance.

This week’s supportive class is a guided yoga nidra practice, offering deep rest and support for your nervous system. Return to it whenever you need to restore your energy, or on days when you’re not doing a yin class.

Well done for making it to week three. At this stage, it’s not uncommon for emotions, thoughts, or tension to surface. Allow whatever arises to be there – observe, stay present, and breathe through the experience.

You’ve now reached the final week of the program. Take a moment to pause and reflect on your journey – have you noticed any shifts in your body or mind? What has come up along the way, in the form of thoughts, emotions, or sensations?

This week invites you to continue softening into your practice, while creating space to integrate and simply be with what is.

We recommend practicing around three times per week (especially if your intention is stress relief) – more is of course a lovely bonus. If you’re using yin as a complement to other training, around two sessions per week can be a great balance.

This week’s supportive class is a gentle meditation practice, using the body and breath as anchors to help you stay present. Return to it whenever you want to ground yourself, reconnect, or on days when you’re not doing a yin class.
