Acroyoga
AcroYoga opens up for a playful and fun session of training, combining yoga, acrobatics and thai massage. It is a partner- or group-based practice with focus on building connections and at the end of the class you will have released a lot of tension from all the laughter! AcroYoga challenges you and your weaknesses and you will get the opportunity to develop on a personal level.
How AcroYoga works
Acroyoga is normally performed in pairs. The base is the person lying on the floor with the legs up in the air, while the flyer is balancing on the feet of the base. This pose will let you experience elements from both worlds of yoga and acrobatics. Sometimes a third person, a so called spotter, partakes and he or she makes sure the pose is executed as safely as possible. There are two forms of acroyoga: therapeutic and acrobatic. Therapeutic flying stretches the muscles and lets you feel the depth of your body. Flying and acrobatics on the other hand is more intensive and physical.
