Shitali Breath is a classical Pranayama or Breathing Technique, sometimes referred to as The Cooling Breath. The technique is designed to influence the hypothalamus in order to cool down the psychical temperature of the body and the psychic temperature of the mind (the psychic heat that's generated from our constant mental activity).
