Couples yoga
When we practice yoga we usually stay neatly on our own mat, in our own little bubble. Sometimes however, it is important to step out of the bubble to get another perspective, and to develop. By practicing Couples Yoga we experience touch, something that is essential for human beings but unfortunately is a shortage in our society. Body contact builds trust to others and deepens our yoga practice. The physical support you receive from your partner is an unmatched support and deepening of your poses.
How does it work?
Couples Yoga is more an approach to yoga rather than a particular style. It is simply a yoga performed together with someone else. Just like all yoga, Couples Yoga is very broad and can be performed in different ways and in different directions. Among our Couples Youga sequences on Yogobe, you’ll find for instance basic and more advance mobility training in addition to physically demanding yoga.
When should I practice Couples Yoga?
When you want to challenge yourself, support your own and support others in their personal development. Couples Yoga brings intimacy and can help your relationship to grow.
