About this session

In this lecture, you'll learn about the autonomic nervous system, ANS, and how trauma can influence this whole system. You'll also learn ways to increase your resilience.

Heart Rate Variability, HRV, is our capacity to flexibly move between the sympathetic and the parasympathetic nervous system and build resilience. Understanding the ANS and how it influences HRV is vital in trauma, where HRV is notoriously low.

Learn more and take part of all lectures and classes with Heather in the Trauma informed yoga program.
