Learn and be inspired to start a daily home spiritual practice, Sadhana. Experience the knowledge of Holy Trinity (Pranayam, mantra and meditation). Gain a deeper understanding of yourself by learning about your unique strengths and how to harness them to live more authentically and wholeheartedly. Get clear on what your path is in life by discovering your dharma, put out your intentions and be ready for the manifestations.
Welcome to your Tribe! Being in a group adds a lot of inspiration to our studies and brings more compassionate forth. Sharing together in circles invites us to articulate our experiences and findings, and also gain wisdom from others experiences. Group mind is such an important part of our training and we shall feed it with our truest presence. This is an inclusive and nurturing community that holds space with integrity and love.
Gain a deeper understanding of the human body from extensive study of experiential anatomy, physiology. Learn about the physical practice of yoga & proper alignment in asanas from the inside out. Discover, embody and master the art and science of creative sequencing and using kramas. Dive into the world of the subtle body experiencing and studying somatically for example Chakras (from the Tantrik perspective) and more. Study yoga and Tantrik Philosophy interactively to inspire and support your path.
To teach, we need sensitivity, intention, compassion and courage. A good, authentic teacher always teaches from her/his own practice. As a teacher we are there to support, inspire and see what there is needed for each individual and for the group as a whole too. We must create and facilitate a safe environment for learning and growth. As the most important tools, we learn about holding space, use of voice, body language and touch, the purpose and use of props and what is important in hands-on adjustments and assists.
Get EMBODIED through Somatics like BMC, Somatic Earthing, Embodied Flow™, Embodied Yin™, Embodied Mama, free movement, dance and more! These explorations provide technology for a deep sense of ease, strength and connectivity in the human form. This in turn, helps us as teachers to see and understand different bodies and furthermore we gain tools to empower our students to be their own greatest teacher as they expand, process, integrate and facilitate awareness in their entire body-mind.
You do not need previous experience to join this training, it is a foundational yoga teacher training and everyone is welcome. However, it is also a great training for anyone who has attended a 200h training before but feels the pull for a more somatic and embodied approach in yoga.
From the 9th-18th of June. Facilitated just outside the picturesque village of Azenhas do Mar in Sintra, Portugal just 45 min from Lisbon in the magical setting of Outpost - Casa das Arribas.
Casa das Arribas stands proudly on the cliffs overlooking the coast from Cabo de Roca to Ericeira. Several beaches are within reach, including their ‘home beach’ in 5 min walking distance. Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais & Ericeria are between 20 and 45 minutes by car. And yet, Casa das Arribas is a truly remote outpost, away from everyone and everything, standing there seemingly isolated on the cliff.
Check them out here.
Subject to change, depending on the group needs.
On the first day we will start at 10.00, so please stay the night before in Lisbon so that you can arrive in the morning. We recommend The Lisboans and have a special price, email Amanda ([email protected]) for more info.

"True Yoga points us towards a wordless, embodied and body-ful experience of our Selves, an experience of our own essense nature, of our connection with all that is, an experience which is ultimately named Love. True words of wise yogis have paradoxically pointed us towards this wordless Yoga, towards this practice, towards this Love, for thousands of years. Meet one of the world’s latest yogic magicians, Satu Tuomela.
In her teachings, Satu bridges these two truths seemingly effortlessly, gently, lovingly, and fiercely, using words which are somehow also wordless, sounds which are somehow also soundless and and time as though it were timeless ; her cadence, her intonation, her questions, her gestures emanate into the room, somehow weaving themselves together to then land gently in our Bodies, to guide us into a fully embodied experience of our Selves, to our own great Heart, a Heart which lives in and speaks to us from every cell of our bodies and in every breath we take, and is connected to every thing.
She is an alchemist, living in and speaking from her own deeply felt connection to the great ocean of consciousness, the Heart, the Center Center, she transmutes seemingly mundane energy, space and time into a sacred, healing vibration within the body, warmly and compellingly inviting you to explore and experience the profound flow of life, of energy, of Qi, streaming through you, as you, in every moment of the practice, and beyond.
She is a shaman, using her harmonium, her voice, her touch, her poetic language and her music to transport you into a deeper layer of your Self, your embodied Self, where you can tap into your own healing energies. She is a virtuoso, her classes intuitively and intelligently curated from a deep well of insight, wisdom and creativity, offering an integrated experience between body, mind and spirt.
For anyone seeking a true practice of yoga, she is the real deal. Period. What a gift to all beings. Om." - Kathrine Perkins, US
"What Satu’s training offered me was a door. And the world that resides beyond that door was phenomenal. I was able to take my first steps under the guidance and comfort of the Satu, the shala, the authentic flow teachers, and my fellow students. And now, nearly 1 year after those first steps, this new world is just an endless delight, fuelled through the curiosity that resides within me.
I entered Satu’s training to learn more about myself and the universe I live in, with no intention of ever teaching yoga. A few months after I left, armed with an array of new tools, I began fusing with my existing profession as a research and development engineer with yogic philosophy. Now I design spaces that optimise human comfort and wellbeing. And as I type this I smile, as I am teaching a yoga class tomorrow." - PJ Jayathissa, New Zealand (from 200h Teacher training 2019)

Fanny Olssen - Yoga has been a growing part of Fanny's life for 14 years, and she has been a teacher for five years.
She has a keen interest in the transformative processes of awareness, and her passion in teaching is to facilitate people towards an ever freer experience, both in the body, and in life as a whole.
As a former medical biologist, Fanny is something of "body nerd"; though, today, her primarily focus is to know the body through the felt sense of the various layers and systems - something that she shares in her classes.
With her deep love for Kashmir Shaivism and it's non-dualistic worldview, she also often weaves philosophy and tantric practices into her teaching, in an easily accessible manner.
Previous experience - Fanny teaches classes inspired by Embodied Flow(TM), as well as Embodied yin and restorative.
She has studied with among others Anja Bergh, Satu Tuomela and Tova Olsson (philosophy), and been to various workshops with for example Christopher Hareesh Wallis, Tara Judelle, Sianna Sherman, and Ateeka.
She holds a Master's degree in Medical Biosciences from Linköping University.
