The road map of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga practice can be divided into different segments where each segment or block has its own purpose and prepares the body and mind for the meditative part of the practice. In this lecture, Laruga explains each of the following segments:
- Sun salutations
- Standing postures
- Seated postures
- Backbending
- Finnishing sequence
- Rest
