About this session

A tutorial video going through the technique and alignment cues for Ardha Baddha Padmottanasana (Standing half-bound lotus) so that you can adjust your practice depending on your level of experience or possible limitations in the body.

This is a standing balancing posture where we need to put our leg into a half lotus position which can be tricky. We call it a practice because we will not always be able to obtain the full posture. Please watch the Ashtanga Workshops with Laruga for reference.

This video belongs to the series Ashtanga Yoga Essentials. Take part of the introduction series Ashtanga Yoga Foundations. To deepen your practice further, take part of Ashtanga Yoga Progression.
