Emma Öberg guides you to find the contact with you and keep it over time. She is a trained yoga teacher in various traditions and a VITA-Coach with a jade-egg focus.

Emma has been meditating and practicing yoga for almost 30 years and has extensive experience of leading group processes. For 15 years, Emma has run the Yoga Mangalam retreat farm outside Varberg, where she has trained yoga teachers for many years.

She has explored various contemplative methods, ranging from meditation in silence to weekly shaking with singing. Now she mostly works with a modern form of dynamic hatha yoga with a focus on releasing and directing power in the body informed by western somatic focused trauma understanding, understanding of the nervous system and fascia as well as yoga and TCM's energy principles.

Emma is a much appreciated teacher and is described as professional, knowledgeable, playful, full of energy and love and with a strong moral pathos. She is driven by the passion to discover the loving person that is in all of us and is happy to see her students flourish.

Emma's classes focus on feeling the body, establishing the accepting mind, using breathing, movement, sound and touch so that the nervous system finds balance and creates a deep presence where you can cultivate a deeper relationship with your own essence. By combining meditation and yoga together with modern research, she guides her students to presence, joy and to unleash inherent potential.

She includes in her work meditation exercises focused on the vagina. Because she believes that the power of the body is important for the balance of the mind and the vagina is a natural part of the body and that contact with the power of the vagina can release women's self-esteem. We no longer have to wait for someone to give us permission to be whole. We are whole already now.

Education: Internationally Certified Yoga Teacher, Yoga therapist and Gong Master.
