Emelie Steen is a multifaceted explorer of life, arts and yoga. She is a yoga teacher who also works as a elementary school teacher in her local community as well as a riding instructor for horse-related projects that takes her all over Sweden. She gets her inspiration and strength from nature and music, which forms an important part of her life as she is both a singer and a musician.

Emelie has worked hard on a project to bring yoga and mindfulness to the traditional school environment as a tool for positive development and in conjunction with that, she has also researched the importance of aesthetics as an expression within the learning process. She is the creator of the "Balance For All" method, which strives to guide towards better and more sustainable health within society as a whole and the school environment in particular. Within her work, yoga and mindfulness are always the most important building blocks.

Emelie also acts as an inspirational force to be reckoned with. She writes about yoga, meditation, health and personal development. She travels around Sweden giving lectures and courses within these subjects.

Her students appreciate how she brings in all aspects of life, nature, the animal world and humanity into her teachings.

Education: Yoga teacher in the Satyananda tradition, MediYoga, MediYoga for Children and Teens with Therapeutic Approach, MediYoga for Hormonal Balance, Vinyasa, Elementary School Teacher, Riding Instructor and Medical Student and a Master's Degree in Pedagogic Teaching Strategies.
