Visama Vrtti – Calming breath
The way we breathe has a direct impact on our nervous system. In this practice you are offered an exercise that is tailored to your needs. As we breathe out longer than we inhale, our calming part of the nervous system is affected. (Skip this exercise if you have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. Even breath rhythm is more beneficial for you.) The class is a part of 'Prison Yoga Project'.
