About this session

Vi går igenom stärkande och balanserande övningar för att öka motståndskraften i kroppen nervsystemet och sinnet. Klassen innehåller övningar i den specifika kombination som låg till grund för den randomiserade Svenska studien 'Yoga i anstaltsmiljö' som publicerades 2016. Resultaten i studien påvisar yogan som en evidensbaserad metod för förbättrad mental hälsa för intagna. Du börjar sittande för att sedan komma upp till stående, sedan sittande igen och avslutar liggande. Du erbjuds alternativ som hjälper dig anpassa övningarna efter just dina behov.

About the instructor

Josefin Wikström

Josefin Wikström has been bringing yoga and dance into the Swedish prisons since 2008. Josefin is responsible for developing the Prison Yoga Programs for Yogobe, she has been working as a full-time teacher focusing on yoga for trauma-exposed populations since 2003.
