The great illusion
About this session
A contemplative talk, including an exercise and a meditation about the fourth movement of the mind. Your mind can be mistaken, but what if it’s wrong about everything? Try a simple illusion and hear two viewpoints on māyā, the idea that everything we witness is either a nasty trick or a playful illusion.
This audio series is for you who are interested in yoga philosophy, and how the mind works and affects you in your behavior and everyday life. If you are a yoga teacher these talks and exercises can give you a new perspective to approach yoga philosophy, both in your own practice and in your teaching.
This is part 5 of this series of contemplative talks. We recommend you to listen to the episodes in the correct order to get the most out of them. Listen to all the talks and the introduction: Watch your mind move.
