Monika has more than 20 years of experience in the health and fitness field both nationally and internationally as a teacher, coach, educator, concept maker, mentor and personal trainer. Monika loves to teach and regularly does teacher- and instructor trainings in different disciplines. She's appreciated for her no-nonsense approach and her well taught, physically and mentally challenging classes, to which all levels are welcomed as long as they are ready to ”do the work”.
Monika is certified in a number of different yoga styles and has well over 500 h of teacher trainings in her background.
In January 2107 Monika's first book ”Yoga for those who train” was published by Norstedts. The inspiration for the book came from the excellent results she saw in personal training clients to whom she introduced physical yoga. They got better competition results, experienced less injury/pain and increased their overall subjective health whether they were amateurs or elite athletes.
Monika is part owner (together with Johanna Andersson) of the well known hot yoga concept Hot MOJO® and ”Yoga for Athletes”- available at more than 100 SATS centers all over Scandinavia.
Monika's first 200h yoga teacher training kicks off in March 2018.
