Camilla's first encounter with yoga was when she, as a child, observed her mother in various strange positions while doing breathing exercises at home on the living room floor. The fascination for yoga had already started!

Later she found her back to yoga in 2000 when, as a law student, she needed a method of managing stress and sleep problems in connection to the examinations.

Camilla took her basic education in the Jivamukti method in 2003 and is today Scandinavia's only 'Advanced Certified' Jivamukti teacher. In the spring of 2005, she opened Atha Yoga, a 'Jivamukti Affiliate Studio' in Stavanger, Norway. She is still the only owner of this studio and leads the professional follow-up of the instructors and yoga program here. In addition, she teaches weekly hours at Atha Yoga and various workshops at home and abroad. She is today also a mentor for instructor training in Jivamukti Yoga.

It is the holistic perspective of yoga that appeals to Camilla; with equal emphasis on the spiritual and mental aspects as on the physical. She is forever grateful for all the inspiration, encouragement and love she receives from her yoga teachers Sharon Gannon and David Life.

Education: Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher (300 hrs), Advanced Certified Jivamukti Teacher (800 hrs +). Graduate lawyer from the University of Oslo 2000.
