Guillermo has been working with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga since 2004 and has had the pleasure of being on several trips to India. Among other things, a two-month stay in Mysore, where he practiced at KPJAYI. Guillermo has a broad background in martial arts, especially Teakwondo, Thai Boxing, Boxing and Shootfighting. For the last two years, he has been actively involved with CrossFit. He has taught the past 8 years, at several different yoga studios, and has run his own studio for a period of time.
Guillermo has a comprehensive, yet simple approach to yoga. He thinks it's about breathing and moving at least a bit every day. After his son came to the world in 2009, his life had major changes. Being a family man, combined with being a yogi, has made him look at yoga from a new perspective. He believes that some days you are lucky enough to complete a whole yoga session, while it may be difficult for you to roll out the mat other days. Guillermo sees that, regardless of starting point, it is possible to create room for yoga in a busy everyday life.
