About the Conference

Join us for a weekend of yoga and meditation at beautiful Salt Creek Spa Resort (Ystad Saltsjöbad). During this weekend we will deepen our knowledge of yoga with teachers Alan Finger, Sarah Platt Finger and Mona Anand from ISHTA Yoga New York.

The program includes both theoretical and practical classes and lectures, the purpose being to deepen our understanding for Yogic Philosophy within the practice. Apart from group classes and meals, you will be given plenty time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and not least to treat yourself at the Spa.

About the Teachers

South African Tantric and Kriya Yoga Master Alan Finger began studying yoga at the age of 16 with his father Mani Finger. Together they created ISHTA Yoga.
The ISHTA style integrates breath-based flow yoga with alignment, meditation and healing bodywork. Before creating a home for ISHTA in New York, Alan co-founded Yoga Zone, Be Yoga, and Yoga Works. He has authored several books and travels the world to share his teachings.

Sarah Finger is titled Yogiraj and co-founded ISHTA Yoga, LLC with her husband, Alan Finger, in May 2008. Sarah’s classes offer a blend of alignment-based flow, breath awareness, kriya techniques and Tantric meditation that enable her students to tap in to the essence of their true nature.
She is a brand ambassador for Lululemon and on the Board of Directors for Exhale to Inhale, a non-profit organization that teaches yoga to survivors of domestic violence. Sarah offers the ISHTA teachings with renowned leaders in the industry, including best-selling author and world spiritual leader, Deepak Chopra. She travels internationally with her husband teaching and sharing what she feels is a truly powerful, transformational, and integrated practice with others.

Mona Anand is a partner and co- owner of ISHTA Yoga. She is a Yogiraj or Yoga Master in the ISHTA lineage and a Senior Trainer in ISHTA’s 500 hour trainings taught globally. An integral part of Mona’s teachings is yoga nidra, a guided mediation technique she was first introduced to as a teenager growing up in Mumbai, India. She was profoundly affected by the power of this technique to induce a deep state of relaxation and proceeded to use it throughout her life. Mona likes to say she has never taught a class without a yoga nidra. She has designed numerous yoga nidra sessions to help people deeply relax, to fall asleep, to lift their spirits, to ground and center and to balance chakra imbalances. She has also developed and teaches her own yoga nidra trainings, “Mona Anand’s ISHTA Yoga Nidra” and “Yoga Nidra and the Chakras” and is currently writing a book on Yoga Nidra with Yogiraj Alan Finger.
